Our proprietary technology identifies novel microbes with the potential to profoundly impact animal health and productivity. A key component of this technology is the ability to accurately quantify live microbes in products and manufacturing intermediates in order to facilitate rapid product development, stability analysis, and quality control of commercial material.

  • A B.S. in Biology, Microbiology, or a closely-related field with 5+ years’ experience, or a M.S. with 3+ years’ experience.

  • Experience with assay development for live biological products is a must.

  • Strong technical experience in basic microbiological techniques of enumeration and differentiation is required – Colony Forming Units, Most Probable Number, Flow Cytometry, Differential Plating, Light Microscopy, etc.

  • Strong quantitative ability is required.

  • Familiarity with quality systems (ISO9001, ISO 22000, etc.) strongly preferred.

  • Experience with food and feed GMP systems very strongly preferred.

  • Experience with live microbial formulation and/or fermentation is a plus.

  • Experience with live microbial formulation and stabilization processes highly preferred.
