Brand UI Design Lead

As a UI Design Lead at?Purple,?you'll be joining us during an exciting time of reimagining our brand experience?how we evolve our look and feel to reflect our incredible growth and future opportunities. You will collaborate across the creative team?of UX designers, graphic designers, motion designers,?copywriters,?content creators,?marketers,?and leadership to define and drive?the brand?vision forward on all digital properties. In this role, you will work closely with our UX team to craft our visual?brand?identity on our digital properties through constant collaboration, iteration, and validation.?? 



  • Ideate, concept,?and design incredibly polished work that represents the Purple brand  through storytelling, presentations, visual direction, prototypes,?and everything in between? 

  • Translate brand identity standards including typography, photography, color etc., for our digital properties 

  • Foster collaboration across teams to solve complex challenges and craft experiences that highlight our products' unique capabilities and personalities. 

  • Propose concepts that elevate our digital brand experience and have the skillset to bring that to life 

  • collaborating on the content creation to make a more compelling user experience on all digital properties 

  • Work closely with the Creative Director and UX Director to align digital creative strategy to brand, seasonal promotions?and product launches and efforts? 

  • Build and mentor a team of UI designers to support the growth of our business while actively working on your own projects? 

  • Understand and communicate the performance side of design, and also the business aspects of our products. 

  • Directly impact our culture?? bring your unique gifts and talents to add your point of view and perspective to our growing team 


  • Hands on, roll up your sleeves, with a positive, unflappable attitude? 

  • An exceptional portfolio that?reflects?a foundation of design principles and awareness of current trends and how?they translate to digital mediums? 

  • 5 years?minimum of solid UI design experience 

  • 3 years of experience in managing or leading design teams 

  • High standards for craft? 

  • A unique point of view.?You are trusted to question approaches, processes, and strategy?to better serve the team?to keep us fresh and distinct in a noisy, competitive industry? 

  • Thrives in an environment where ambiguity is part of the norm 

  • Expertise with latest design software?including?Figma and Adobe CC? 

  • Experience working across organizational boundaries to define, manage, and prioritize work, with a collaborative and innovative approach. 

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex concepts clearly across different audiences and varying levels of the organization.
