Broadcast Designer

The NESN Broadcast Designer role is responsible for creating dynamic and informative design solutions and motion graphics for cross-departmental partners and company initiatives. 


Ensures a full understanding of the creative objectives and needs of assigned partners and leaders

Participates in the development of design concepts that meet defined needs within specifications determined by the creative or art director

Develops and executes design, layouts and motion graphics solutions that support strategic objectives and are grounded by a solid graphic design framework

Demonstrates proficiency with relevant professional concepts, technology platforms and graphic design software

Assigned standard to complex projects

Assists on new and innovative projects and initiatives. Implements assigned projects independently with regular guidance from senior staff

May trains new employees and less experienced staff

Work is reviewed at regular intervals and milestones

Typically has one to three years of progressively complex related experience.

Completes other projects and tasks as assigned by the Art Director


Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects)

1-3 years of design and animation experience at a media company, production company or creative agency

Ability to meet aggressive deadlines, take direction and collaborate with Creative Services team and production partners

Demonstrated ability in motion and graphic design (layout and typography)

Solid organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities within tight deadlines

Self-starter with proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment across various departments

Motivated to learn new techniques, processes and technologies

Reel or link showcasing creative ability and technical skills

Competency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook

Cinema 4D and/or experience working with other 3D applications are a plus
