We're seeking a mid-level graphic designer with solid branding experience to help our clients make an impact with thoughtful and compelling creative.

Note: We're headquartered in Washington, DC, but this job may be worked remotely.


  • Lead design on client teams: You will be responsible for leading design strategy and brand maintenance for several clients at a time (depending on the time of the election cycle), working on day-to-day requests such as email and social assets, as well as on longer digital ad or branding projects. 

  • Work with digital strategists to anticipate graphic needs and plan for opportunities: Meet monthly with strategists to review email calendars, noting which emails would benefit from design, and anticipating social design needs and opportunities.

  • Build branding into coded aspects of client work: Learn light HTML + CSS to assist with designing branded email templates and custom landing pages.

  • Drive innovation with new ideas: With an eye on design trends across industries, find opportunities to innovate or develop client branding and design.

  • Assist with design for in-house projects: Provide design as needed for website maintenance, presentations, and marketing collateral. 

  • Manage design assets: Keep client asset folders organized and identify and develop needed branding assets. Source and edit photos that may be used under a Creative Commons License.


  • 2?4 years of experience designing for digital. Print or merch experience a plus. 

  • Must have a strong and demonstrated understanding of typography, branding, and photo editing with a creative approach to problem solving. 

  • Able to meet tight deadlines and manage several projects at once.

  • Able to adhere to an existing brand and find ways to innovate with minimal assets.

  • Able to take direction and feedback gracefully and follow through with edits.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Exquisite attention to detail.

  • Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Indesign.  

  • Familiarity with or interest in learning HTML + CSS and HTML5 Ads. (If you're not already familiar with code, we will offer training)

  • Light video editing a plus.
