ABOUT YOUR JOB
You will be an integral part of extending and shaping our UI/UX engineering team, building the bridge between our designers, software engineers and clients. The main focus of your daily work will be on developing front-end solutions, building component libraries and defining and expanding our existing company-wide front-end standards and trainings.
Your profound experience working autonomously and your empathy and good communication skills allows efficient and cooperative discussions with clients as well as development teams about how to improve design and user experience in our products. Challenging and improving design proposals from designers and clients come naturally to you because of your passion for this topic.
Your good eye for design and eagerness to provide the best user experience motivates you to make sure that even the last misaligned button or wrong color is fixed.
Your daily tasks will include:
- Converting visual designs into working front-end code
- Planning and developing front-end solutions for web and mobile
- Building prototypes to support communication and business decisions
- Developing and continuously improving our UX Engineering Standards
- Creating and continuously improving company-wide front-end training sessions
- Fluent in English and German
- Multiple years of experience working on medium to large front-end projects
- Experience with multiple front-end languages (React, Flutter, Vue, Angular, jQuery)
- Experience with version control tools (Git)Some experience with design tools (Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma)
- Up to date with current UI/UX design principles
- Some experience with package and dependency managers (npm, Yarn)
- Some experience with testing and debugging
