Job Purpose:

               The Japanese Speaker Design Artist shall provide exceptional customer experience in assisting Vistaprint customers in Japanese. Artist shall primarily be engaged in reviewing customer designs to ensure they meet print design standards and modify them as needed using their design skills and company's proprietary tools.

Key Responsibilities/Duties

  • Process designs from customers based on the process requirements and produce a high-quality result useful for production ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Achieve the targets set by the team lead/team manager
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude
  • Execute processes as documented and made available
  • Proactively raise issues regarding systems, tools, performance and processes
  • Apply customer satisfaction oriented approach in daily tasks
  • Perform additional duties as requested by team leader/team manager
  • Address the issues faced in the manufacturing facilities and provide necessary feedback to the team lead
  • Involve in activities that induces continuous improvement in the skills required for the role

 

Experience & Qualification

  • Degree/diploma course in Graphics Design from a reputable institution or university
  • Demonstrate a high level of understanding about existing commercial designing software applications/CAD tools such as Adobe Illustrator or Corel Draw, Adobe Photoshop
  • Exhibit creativity skills that are at par with industry standards
  • Any knowledge/experience around embroidery digitization is a plus
  • One or more years of experience with Graphic Designing (commercial/non-commercial)
  • Strong ethical behavior combined with unmatched passion, commitment and drive for quality excellence
  • Fluent with verbal and written Japanese communication
  • Knowledge of MS Office applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Ability to adapt to new software applications /CAD tools

  • Master of Tools & Process. Utilizes acquired and existing knowledge to perform designated tasks independently with minimal errors (90% accuracy). Demonstrates a solid understanding of core concepts within this competency

 

Minimum Skills Requirements

  • Speaking Proficiency- Level 7/10. Comprehend detailed information with fewer contextual clues on unfamiliar topics; produce, initiate, and sustain spontaneous language interactions, although wordy when necessary; and can satisfy social and professional needs by recombining learned vocabulary and structures.
  • Writing Proficiency Level- Level 4/5. writing is clear with almost no errors; the few mechanical, grammatical, and/or word usage errors that occur do not interfere with communication; most of the ideas are well developed with relevant supporting examples and details.
  • Listening Comprehension- Level 7/10. can comprehend detailed information with fewer contextual clues on unfamiliar topics, defend their ideas during a discussion and understand some idiomatic expressions used by native speakers, and settle a disagreement.
  • Reading Comprehension- Level 8/10. Understands general interest readings of 5-7 pages; scans texts, internet for specifics.
