Job Overview: 

Shuttlerock is seeking a junior-intermediate motion graphics designer, based in North America (opportunity to work remotely).

You will be joining a large global team of experienced motion graphic artists, who are responsible for creating short-form video ads for some of our world-class, and iconic clients. To be successful you will be a confident motion graphics artist, who can take a creative brief and draw on your own inspiration to create an effective video ad.  You will also be a self-starter, who thrives working in a dynamic and evolving environment.  A passion for working to deadlines is also a plus! 

 

What you'll do;

  • Your primary role will be in the Shuttlerock LIVE workshop team, where you will work alongside dedicated creative specialists, and sales members to deliver a collaborative and engaging creative, virtual workshop experience. Your role will be preparing video concepts (from a pre-submitted client brief), and conducting client research to bring forward to the workshop day, and then making live design /editing changes in front of the clients and partners present. 

  •  Other than LIVE events, you will also assist account managers and sales teams with design-related issues and questions. This includes conducting 'quick-fixes' on urgent jobs. 

  • Other varied tasks including working within the 'Creative Lab's team to pitch, direct and complete innovative and specialty orders. 

 

What you'll bring;

  • Knowledge of digital platforms and the essentials of digital brand building through creative

  • Proficient in producing motion graphic videos with a deep understanding of typography, composition, pacing and sound design 

  • Superb interpersonal & communication skills / comfortable leading calls and meetings with clients, partners and key stakeholders.  

  • Ability to push forward with an open mind when it comes to working alongside colleagues 

  • Ability to adapt your design approach in real-time in order to suit the clients needs

  • Proactive and adaptable approach to getting the job done

  • A team player attitude!

 

Requirements:

  • Advanced skills in the Adobe Suite focusing on After Effects, Illustrator and Photoshop.  

  • Competent in motion graphics to deliver an engaging short-form video 

  • 3+ years motion design experience;
