Big Ass Solutions: Junior Web Developer (Lexington)

Responsibilities:

Make edits and updates like image edits and swaps, copy changes and online document uploads to all Big Ass Solutions web properties
Troubleshoot web-related problems as they arise, like page layout, site functionality, browser rendering, and lead and analytics tracking
Work with the marketing and sales team to create web pages and contact forms using HTML, CSS and WYSIWYG for both general educational and direct sales functions
Create, edit and troubleshoot automated marketing tasks within the marketing automation platform
Generate web analytics reports

 

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in related field with 3+ years of experience working on websites. Courses in design and marketing would be a plus
Intimate knowledge of WordPress, including editing page templates and custom post types
Possess total dominance over HTML and CSS and able to make DIVs obey your every command
Experience navigating web servers via FTP
A good eye for design and meticulous attention to detail. 1px off is too much. We want things to look right, tight and outta sight
A solid understanding of how a website fits into a business’ marketing mix
Proven ability to produce high-quality work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Can take direction and execute it flawlessly without handholding
Able to communicate complicated web concepts in a non-technical way
Must be a team player and have a sense of humor
