Multidisciplinary Graphic Designer

The Brattle Group is seeking an inspired and prolific multi-disciplinary designer and visual problem solver for a full-time Multidisciplinary Graphic Designer in our Boston, MA office.?An ideal designer for us is a proactive self-starter, able to work within tight timelines, and comfortable engaging with others in any environment. We expect you to be adept at collaborating with some of the best and brightest in the world ? all while helping to create world-class creative outputs that transform the complex into beautifully clear creative solutions.?You'll leverage a keen ability to take complex source material and make it both visually elegant and easy to digest. We want someone that can see the story where others may only see noise. You will work closely with Brattle's in-house Marketing team on a variety of projects to integrate vibrant design solutions into our deliverables. You'll interface regularly with our marketing team members, consulting staff, and other departments, to create creative and effective deliverables.

Some of the day-to-day responsibilities of this role include:

  • Work within our brand guidelines to create layouts that promote the Brattle style and our brand voice through all of our visual touch points
  • Provide creative direction for new and emerging initiatives that support our practices' go-to-market strategies, including but not limited to infographics, video, and other digital and/or visual content
  • Collaborate frequently with our Visual Designer and other Marketing colleagues to produce quality work quickly and efficiently
  • Transform sketches into infographics, animations, and illustrations of complicated subject matter
  • Effectively articulate and pitch your design concepts to clients, internal stakeholders, and others
  • Ensure the final design and all assets are delivered with specifications and on time
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in visual design for print, web, and mobile

THE CANDIDATE

  • Bachelor's Degree required; visual design-related majors preferred
  • Minimum of 4 years of visual design experience utilizing Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft applications such as PowerPoint, and front-end web environments such as WordPress
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a client facing role; professional services experience is highly desirable
  • Positive attitude and motivation to deliver exceptional quality work
  • Comfortable working on a variety of projects, whether it involves video and animation, web and interaction, print and advertising, or even reports and client presentations
  • Can hold your own while collaborating with outside agencies, internal stakeholders, other Corporate Services departments, and members of the Marketing team
  • Great time-management skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent collaborator who knows how to accept and internalize feedback in a proactive way
  • Solid knowledge of design software, visual design principles, and a drive to continue learning and growing as a Visual Designer
  • Demonstrated portfolio showing creative, design, and software skills
  • Bonus: Knowledge of front-end digital design, including HTML, CSS, and JS, and ability to dive into the code to implement and fix designs as needed
  • Bonus: A proven ability to create high quality video content quickly and efficiently, with a solid understanding of video editing and animation software
  • Requires flexibility to work long hours, occasional nights/weekends
