Salesforce Developer – 6 month contract


 An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Salesforce Developer, to join the MThree team, on a contract basis, for the duration of around 6 months. This contract role will be based in our offices in Battery Park, NYC.  


The Salesforce Developer will drive the development and implementation of the Salesforce platform for internal stakeholders, to ensure that the Front Office data flow is captured and translated for the Back-Office needs.


The post holder must have excellent technical and communication skills who can interface directly with users to understand their needs in order to administer and enhance the system accordingly. 


 Responsibilities include although not limited to:



  • Proactively seek out and define needed system changes requested from users (i.e. maintain custom fields, validation rules, views, reports, dashboards, campaigns and other Salesforce objects and functions).

  • Modify the system to increase benefits and usability.

  • Handle on-going customization and alteration of Salesforce.

  • Make technical adjustments within Salesforce, continuously improving the end to end process

  • Ability to fully configure the Salesforce platform- creating reports, workflows, dashboards, custom objects, validation rules, page layouts

  • Integration experience

  • Create and administer training to existing or new users/groups in both Front and Back Offices ensuring that the platform is utilized by its full potential.

  • Communicate regularly with user base regarding new features, enhancements and changes to the system.

  • Continually seek ways to further enhance the end-user experience.


 Experience required for the role:



  • Extensive experience developing the Salesforce platform

  • Able to write batch Apex and Visualforce code

  • Working knowledge of DEV401 and/or DEV501

  • Confident in presenting Salesforce material to new users.

  • Understanding various databases and data migration tools.

  • Experience with programming languages such as SQL, JavaScript, HTML, Java, C++, etc.

  • Highly analytical and close attention to detail.

  • Salesforce certification is desirable but not essential
