To reach our goal, we are looking for a product-driven Senior Frontend Developer to join an agile team consisting of frontend and backend developers, designers, product managers, and scrum masters. As a Senior Frontend Developer you bring in expertise and fun to work, strive for clean, well-documented code, feel responsible for driving improvements to overall product quality, enjoy sharing knowledge and foster a collaborative environment to make an impact.

Your responsibilities





  • Drive our initial explorations into developing a Progressive Web App

  • Build new product features and iterate them based on user feedback and analytics data

  • Work in close collaboration with our product management and user experience teams

  • Redefine Freeletics Web strategy and structure

  • Live on the edge of app and web technology and help us blur the distinction between the two

  • Proactively share knowledge and experience with the team Improve code quality with tests and automation

  • Maintain when necessary our legacy applications running on Gatsby and Angular 1.x





Your profile





  • Deep understanding of JavaScript and related typed languages (for example, TypeScript and CoffeeScript)

  • Expert knowledge in the React library and build toolchain

  • Experience with other modern single page application frameworks such as Angular, Vue.js, and Ember

  • Familiarity with Rails, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, and AWS is nice to have because we use those technologies

  • If you’ve built a native mobile app or two, we’d be impressed, especially if you’ve also used React Native

  • Have a hands on approach with focus on execution and a “getting things done” mentality
