Senior UX Designer

The Senior UX Designer is responsible for understanding the customer journey, identifying pain points, and designing intuitive digital solutions to address them. This role will work closely with the product manager, development team, user researcher and other groups to iteratively design and deliver a differentiating end-to-end user experience. This role is engaged during the entire product lifecycle, from zero-base ideation and research, through delivery, as well as the continuous improvement of the product. This position is on the Provider Digital Experience team responsible for helping doctors on their journey from looking for opportunities through on assignment and reports to the Senior Manager of UX and UX Research. 

Your role:

  • Own and contribute during discovery, prototyping, design, delivery, testing, and the continuous improvement of your product
  • Design holistic experiences with functional interactions and visuals
  • Assist in establishing, documenting, and socializing content best practices, governance, and processes
  • Communicate compelling reason behind every design decision and the ability to collaborate with your peers
  • Understand your customer and be an advocate for great design practice and adopting new technology
  • Iterate on designs in an Agile software development environment
  • Leverage low-fidelity methods to rapidly iterate on wireframes and prototypes
  • Be able to interpret user research results into actionable analysis
  • Mentor and provide direction to other UX Designers
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Your qualifications:

  • Create intuitive solutions that solve complex problems leveraging design and prototyping tools (Figma, Zeplin)
  • Continue building out our user testing methodologies and research practices
  • Ability to apply analytical and problem-solving skills across the organization and product-wide architectures
  • Ability to effectively influence at the highest levels of the company
  • Ability to communicate user experience data, design proposals, and product specifications, and negotiate options
  • Be a master of the entire UX design process including; product definition, research, analysis, design, and validation
  • Effective at communication, collaboration, and providing and receiving feedback

Education & Years of Experience

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Design, Human Factors Engineering, or equivalent 
  • 6+ years of related work experience

Preferred

  • Experience building design systems preferred

Location

  • This full-time position is based out of Utah but also remote-friendly from anywhere within the US
