Asset-Map is looking for a talented, innovative Senior Full Stack developer to join our Product & Development team.  This individual will be responsible for participating in our product development from ideation to deployment and beyond, and then working as part of a team to execute and support new features or products.  In this role you will work with the teams Product Manager, CTO, and Founder to understand the roadmap, deliver on product vision, and help communicate designs and development decisions to people outside the team.  This is a new role within the organization so the desire and ability to quickly ramp up and grow into a technical lead as we continue to build out the team will be crucial for long term success.


Job Responsibilities


  • Consistently demonstrate commitment, courage, focus, openness, and respect in all interactions, both within and outside of the team.

  • Lead projects through all aspects of the development process, including design discussions and story grooming, pointing, and prioritization

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to ensure delivery of best possible User Experience.

  • Educate customers and Asset-Map team members on development decisions and best practices

  • Research modern usability patterns and identifying places in the application where they can be used to increase overall discoverability

  • Maintain quality and ensure responsiveness of applications.

  • Maintain code integrity and organization.

  • Understanding and implementation of security and data protection

  • Peer code reviews and creation of unit tests

Requirements      

  • Highly experienced with back-end programming languages and associated frameworks, Python/Django preferred

  • Proficient experience with front-end programming languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and familiarity with common javascript libraries and frameworks

  • Experience with distributed version control systems and tools, e.g., Github/GIt

  • Experience implementing and integrating with RESTful API services

  • 5+ years of application development for the web

  • Proven record of accomplishment of successful delivery of projects that had a positive impact on the systems, product, team, and customers that us

Compensation: Salary commensurate with experience.  Incentive Compensation and Bonus Structure plan available.

Hours and Location: This is a full-time position, our offices are located in center city Philadelphia.  Some travel may be required.


Travel: Travel may be required. This employee may be asked to attend industry trade shows and other events to represent Asset-Map and to meet and inquire with our customer base, highlight Asset-Map to customers and the Fintech community, interact with other development professionals, and stay abreast of industry standards and new vision.  


Training: Asset-Map will teach you how to use the Asset-Map program, provide you financial service industry background information, get you acquainted with our software and work with you to develop your skills.  You may train with our existing Department heads, and directly with our CEO and founder.
