**Support Engineer** We're looking for a Full-Time support engineer to help our team maintain and optimize the codebase, and build and integrate internal tools. You will work with a software engineer and the sales team. In this role, you should be a team player with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills. Your goal will be to solve customer facing bugs, optimize and scale the existing codebase, and work on internal tools to make our internal processes more efficient. **You're Good At:** - Producing clean, efficient code based on specifications - Taking ownership of customer issues reported and seeing problems through to resolution - Asking customers targeted questions to quickly understand the root of the problem - Integrating third-party programs - Troubleshooting, debugging and upgrading existing software - Recommending and executing improvements - Solving problems on your own - Ruby On Rails and Postgresql **Extra Awesome:** - Ruby, Ruby on Rails and Front End languages (HTML, CSS, Javascript, Jquery) - Full-Stack Engineering - Git and Github - Ability to learn new technologies and 3rd party API's - Excellent communication skills - Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude - Attention to detail - Honesty, Integrity and Collaboration **Opportunity:** We are a 2 year old established startup that helps Amazon third-party sellers. We are committed to helping you achieve your goals in your career, whether it be in learning new technologies and frameworks or gaining experience in the world of Saas. Our tech stack is Ruby on Rails, HTML, CSS, Jquery, Javascript and Postgresql **What to Expect:** Expect a face to face interview online or in person as well as a short coding assessment to gauge your technical skills. **Our Product Pitch** Amazon handles your inventory, sales, returns and payments. Upon doing so, mistakes happen. Amazon can lose or damage your inventory, and overcharge you on fees. Sellers often don't have the time to track all of amazon's activities to make sure everything is being done correctly. The result? Last year alone, there was an estimated $3 billion in unclaimed reimbursements. There are a few ways to solve this problem: 1.You can have somebody on your team do it manually. They would have to pull dozens of reports and cross-reference them to find the mistakes. This is extremely time consuming and expensive (Ask us, we tried it). 2. Outsource it to a 3rd party service which will deal with Amazon on your behalf. This is against Amazon's policies. The reason is that only you can know the ins and outs of your business. These services don't have the proper evidence and knowledge to win cases with Amazon. You shouldn't have to put your account at risk to get the money you deserve. **What we do?** Our software pulls in all the reports and does all the heavy-lifting for you. We automatically identify all of the discrepancies and let you make the decision. We are the only Amazon approved reimbursement solution! With our software, it's one click and your case is submitted! By automating the process, you can be sure that you're recovering every last dollar. **Who we are** We are a team of Amazon Sellers and engineers ourselves. We've built and tested our product for 2 years with over 1,400 businesses! **What it's like to work here** A calm, collected environment where you can focus doing great work. We value a calm company and deliberate, focused effort. You'll have a lot fewer meetings. Turns out 8 hours are plenty of time to get work done when you don't slice your day into tiny "work moments".
