[ Surface Design + IG Account Management]

Client Account Management 

  1. Liaising with Clients to understand forthcoming design needs - Identifying what they need and when.

  2. Creating mood boards - Submitting possible options back to the Client.

  3. Preparing chosen files for print in PS, matching Pantone colours + comprehensive organisation of print files.

Additional responsibilities to include;

Design Inspiration - Organising Pinterest boards and GPhoto Albums.

Trend & Interiors Research  - Colour forecasts, Surface Pattern, Textures & Materials.

Liaising with the Director to evolve design ideas into mood boards and quarterly look books.

Curating our master inspiration boards into a design reference archive to be used in-house.

Product Development - Evolving and prepping new print products.

Creating print test files for Print Sampling. Organising Surface ideas into collections to be released at set dates.

 

Instagram 

Organising posts of Client examples our trend forecasts and new products into posts with captions.

Uploading approved posts into the Later scheduling app - 2-week batches at a time - (2-3 posts a week)

Adding appropriate tags and credits to posts.

 

Who | Will be the ideal candidate

Interior (or) Textile Design / Surface Pattern Graduate with a broad education in Art & Design history and culture.

 

Essential Skill Sets

The successful candidate will be highly motivated, tenacious and enjoy organising visual content in a methodical way. They will be seeking to develop their skills working directly with clients and delivering their vision within a creative brief and tight timescale. 

  • Very good skills in one or more of the following; Photoshop. Illustrator. Solidworks. Autocad. Sketch Up.

 

Practical Criteria

Software skills - as above

Remote Worker - any time zone, but fast internet connection is essential.

Computer (pref an Apple Mac) with ample storage space - we work with very large files.

English - verbal and written of a high standard.

Passion for Interior or Textile Design.

Able to work self-reliant. Happy to be working at a desk from home.

Working Hours + Pay

Our time zone is BST, the candidate will work 3-4 hours between 6 am and 12 pm BST time, 3 mornings a week.

Initially, the role will be paid by hour, part-time and is ideal for a first job Graduate [$10 - $16 USD per hour].

This will also be a trial period.

If successful the role will grow in both hours and rate, with a goal to it being a full-time position.
