Web Content Administrator

The Web Content Administrator is responsible for the content management and maintenance of in-house websites and web administrator tools. Responsibilities will include the translation of team and user requests into code that will produce contextual and visual elements of websites and applications. The Web Content Administrator will bridge the gap between user requests, graphic design, and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the website/application looks as well as how it works. The Web Content Administrator must have the Whatever it Takes attitude in everything that they do.

Essential duties and responsibilities

Manages all website content and related layouts utilizing user-experience best practices

Proactively monitors and manages functionality of websites, and troubleshoots issues with the required teams on a project or request

Troubleshoots web browser, and mobile device, compatibility issues

Plans and implements changes, enhancements, additions, and/or deletions to websites as needed, ensuring little disruption to users

Identifies and recommends improvements to the websites, as needed

Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to troubleshoot, improve usability, and help with coding

Maintain graphic standards and branding throughout all interface elements

Maintain company administrated systems that tie into our web platforms

Maintain and update company WordPress sites such as the blog and marketing catalog

Build HTML emails, websites, and landing pages as needed

Other Duties as assigned


Proven work experience as a web content administrator

Experience with HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, and jQuery

Familiarity with browser testing and debugging

Understanding of responsive design

In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, deployment, and maintenance)

Knowledge of SEO principles

Knowledge of CMS systems (WordPress)

Familiarity with software like Adobe Suite, Photoshop and content management systems

Excellent analytical, organizational, project management and time management skills

An ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment

General understanding of web application development processes (from layout/user interface to relational database structures)
